Costs after registration

Certified copies for banks: free if you certify them yourself, a few pounds each from a solicitor.
Changing an attorney later: a new LPA and a new £92, so choose replacements now.

Signing order does not add to the cost

It is worth being clear that arranging signatures — donor, certificate provider, then attorneys, each witnessed — costs nothing beyond people's time, regardless of which preparation route you used. Some professional certificate providers, such as a GP, may charge a fee of roughly £50-£150 for their time, but a friend or long-standing acquaintance who meets the eligibility rules can do it for free.

Does the OPG fee ever change?

It is set by government and has changed in the past; £92 is the current fee per document. Always check the OPG's own published fee before relying on any figure.
