How it works

Five steps, start to finish.

  1. Quick suitability check

Five short questions, about two minutes. No account and no payment. It simply tells us whether our online service is suitable for you.

  2. Choose your LPA

Both LPAs for £79, or one for £49. If you only want one, you choose which at that point — not before.

  3. Create your account and pay

First name, email and password, or continue with Google. One-off payment, no subscription. The Office of the Public Guardian registration fee is separate and paid directly to them.

  4. Answer the guided questions

Plain-English questions about you, your attorneys, your choices and your certificate provider. We only ask what applies to you, and everything saves as you go.

  5. Download, sign and register

You get your completed LP1F and/or LP1H, a personalised signing guide, and step-by-step registration instructions. Your documents stay available in your account.

Your personalised signing guide

We show each person where to sign, who needs to witness their signature and the order in which the LPA should be signed — one step per person, in sequence, so nobody has to work it out for themselves.

Attorney and certificate provider eligibility checked

We ask questions designed to identify common eligibility problems, including age, bankruptcy or debt relief restrictions for property and financial affairs attorneys, and relationships that may prevent someone acting as certificate provider.

Help with preferences and instructions

You can leave this blank, write your own wording, or ask us to show examples and neutral explanations of what preferences and instructions do. We will not tell you what restrictions to impose, and where wording looks like it needs legal advice we will say so. What we do and do not do.
