Estate Advisory Group

About Estate Advisory Group

Estate Advisory Group builds self-service estate planning products for England and Wales. LPAs Online is our Lasting Power of Attorney service; My Posh Will is our online Will service.

Why LPAs Online exists

Most people who need a Lasting Power of Attorney face two choices: complete the official forms unaided, or pay a solicitor several hundred pounds per document. Both routes produce the same LP1F and LP1H forms. LPAs Online sits between them — a guided set of questions, automated checks for common completion errors, completed forms and a personalised signing guide, for a fixed fee of £49 for one LPA or £79 for both LPA types for one person.

Our aim

Straightforward documents should not have to cost hundreds of pounds to prepare. Our aim is to help families across England and Wales save millions of pounds in professional fees while still having access to clear, plain-English guidance and carefully prepared documents.

Clear fixed pricing

We publish our prices and we do not charge by the hour. The Office of the Public Guardian charges its own registration fee of £92 per LPA, which you pay directly to them. We always show the two costs separately so you can see the full amount before you pay anything.

Document preparation, not legal advice

What we are

Estate Advisory Group and its services are document preparation services. We are not a firm of solicitors, we are not a regulated legal service, and we do not provide advice about your individual circumstances. We give general information and we prepare documents from the information you give us. If your situation is complex — disputed capacity, business interests, trusts or assets outside England and Wales — you should take independent legal advice. What we do and do not do.

Plain English

Our guides are written to be read once and understood. We avoid legal jargon where an ordinary word will do, we say when something is a rule and when it is a choice, and we link to the official GOV.UK guidance rather than paraphrasing it loosely. We are not affiliated with the Office of the Public Guardian or GOV.UK.

Where we operate

Lasting Powers of Attorney as described on this site apply in England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have different documents and different processes, and our LPA service does not cover them.
