What the fixed fee includes

£49 buys guided preparation of one LPA — either a property and financial affairs LPA (LP1F) or a health and welfare LPA (LP1H) — and £79 covers both. What it doesn't include

Being upfront about what's outside the fixed fee is as important as what's inside it. Our fee doesn't cover the £92-per-LPA OPG registration fee, which you pay directly to the Office of the Public Guardian when you register — this is a government charge, not ours, and it's the same whoever prepares your paperwork.

The donor's mental capacity is already in question and a formal assessment may be needed.
