Can you make an LPA online?

You can complete it online. You cannot yet sign it online — every LPA needs wet signatures and witnesses.
What online does for you
- Guided questions instead of a blank 20-page form.
- Checks for the mistakes that cause returns and rejections.
- Suggested wording for preferences and instructions.
- A completed, correctly formatted LP1F or LP1H to print.
What still happens on paper
- The donor signs and is witnessed.
- The certificate provider signs, after the donor.
- Each attorney signs and is witnessed, after the certificate provider.
- The whole form goes to the OPG with the fee, and registration takes weeks.

Can I sign electronically?
No. LPAs currently require handwritten signatures witnessed in person.
